Meet Kees Brinkman

Kees Brinkman is the Managing Director and is responsible for consultancy services nationwide. Kees has a B.E. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, is a member of IPENZ and ASHRAE, and has thirty years experience in the HVAC field, twenty-seven years of these in energy consulting.

During his career, Kees has worked as a HVAC design engineer, energy consultant, project manager and principal design engineer for multi-million dollar projects in the USA and as Energy Manager for the Christchurch City Council.

Kees received the Energy Wise Award in 2000 from EECA for his role as the Energy Manager at the Christchurch City Council. He was also one of the first group of Accredited Energy Auditors in New Zealand.

Meet David Taylor

David is a senior engineer at Enercon and has been working in energy management since 2002, has a BE(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and a BCom(AFIS), is a member of EMANZ, IPENZ and ASHRAE and is an Accredited Energy Auditor. David is also a a carboNZero programme trained consultant.

David specialises in commercial and institutional energy efficiency with a focus on HVAC and lighting, and is heavily involved with reviewing Building Management Systems to reduce energy use.  Other areas of focus include financial modeling, energy tenders and a wide range of feasibility studies including installation of boilers, fuel conversions, engine generators and chillers.
